Texas Sign Association Design Contest Categories
- Large freestanding electric signs 100 sq. ft. or larger in any one direction.
- Smaller freestanding electric signs 99 sq. ft or smaller in any one direction.
- Electric building signs, illuminated internally and/or externally with exposed neon.
- Commercial signs which are non-illuminated or externally illuminated. Category
includes sandblasted, routed, vinyl, or painted renderings that may be attached or freestanding, dimensional letters mounted to a sub-surface such as brick or concrete are also included.
- Graphics and lighting.
- Awnings.
- Integrated sign design packages consisting of various signs used at one location to
compliment each other. (None of the signs can be previous entries.)
- Signs manufactured by TSA members but designed by non-member firms and/or designers. Restorations and renovations should also be placed in this category.
